Well, somebody sure was thinking.
I think the last couple of years I have been asleep when the New Year comes around and for the last couple of years I have just went through life or that year like in a daze.
Things came and went so quickly, like I was always running to keep up. Why? I will tell you why later in another post. For now, I will tell you what I did for New Years.
This New Year's I decided i wasn't going to fall asleep through the New Years. They say that whatever you are doing at New Years will be an indication of what the year is to bring.
Went over to a friends house and they had purchased the Wii for their kidos. This Wii program had all the fitness stuff on it. The program has bowling, tennis, golf, boxing and baseball. They had the bowling game on there. I love to bowl. I have been bowling since I can remember back when I was eleven or something. It was something my dad put me in so he would have an excuse to go drink at the bar inside the bowling alley. I became really pretty good.
So, I thought I would give it a go. Holy Cow! My freakin right arm is so sore that I could hardly do my workout this morning. My triceps were just screaming at me. I could not believe it.
I also tried the Tennis, because back in high school I played tennis too. Took me a few games to get the timing down, but I really did get a good little workout.
I am truly amazed at this concept. It is a great one in order to get our kidos up and moving. Now, I just have to figure out how to get one for myself. Hehehe.
Make it a family night, if you have several controls. It would be so much fun.

Who Would Have Thought
Happy New Year
My last entry for the year 2008. My Gosh, I can't wait til 2008 disappears. It has been a crazy year and one that I do not want to remember. I am tired of being broke. I just want the texas wind to carry 2008 far far away.
I have new plans for 2009 and it is not being broke. I would not call them resolutions because those don't seem to last, so I have to make a change for good.
I will still keep blogging of course, this has been the only thing that I am glad I found. I am thankful for all of the followers and people who just happen to come across the blog to say HI. It is totally awesome.
So, to all of my followers, I lift a nice glass of ? (you make the call) and cheers for the new year.

Coffee Anyone?
Unlike the other coffee makers this one does single cups. They also offer so many brands and different types of coffees. If can also make hot cocoa and teas.
The thing I like about this coffee maker is that if I decide that I want to have French Vanilla cup or a cup of tea at any time, then I don't have to make a whole pot. Love that.Water is held in a reservoir so it only takes a minute to get your cup of coffee instead of having to wait. The little cups are called k-cups. What an inventive idea. Keurig has different types of coffee makes. They have a mini cup up to a 4 cup sizes.
I found you can purchase this type of coffee maker at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Target and even Lowe's my friend found one for his wife.
You can also make your own regular coffee too with a little filter basket.
So, you see you can please everyone in the house. I love it. Now, all you have to do is buy the Kahula and Brandy. :)
Happy Holidays.
Next year is going to be a great year. The best one of them all. I fee it.

Batman: The Dark Knight
My friend went to the store at midnight to buy this movie. He had seen it at the theaters several times, my youngest has also seen it several times, my husband went and saw at the theater with them two and my oldest saw the movie. What the heck was I doing, that I missed all the fun?
So, my friend went out of town this last weekend and I mentioned, Good, I can borrow the movie while he was gone so I thought. He said "Well, I am planning on taking it so that that the girls can watch it."
"What" I said with disappointment, knowing darn well, that they were going out partying, and I was not invited. They are not going to watch that movie. "Fine, doesn't matter, I will go buy it myself when I am out." I told him.
I bought the movie and my husband and my daughter and I all sat at home on Friday night and watched this hyped up movie.
I so loved the very first batman they did with Michael Keaton. I love him too. He is just too cute. He looks the same, but he made a great lookin Batman. Why couldn't batman come to my house?
Then, George Clooney had to get in the act and I liked him (but Michael has a place in my heart) with Batman and Robin. Can't know for the life of me remember who was in Batman Forever, Oh I just remember, I think it was Val Kilmer. Yes, he did a great job, but it did not really interest me.
This Batman however, was really awesome. I loved everything about it. It had a great story line and yes, it was dark. Heath Ledger played a remarkable and rememberable Joker. He really stole the main part I believe. What an awesome job he did.
This movie however is not for very young kids and use your parental discretion when viewing this movie. You may want to watch on your own time. Great movie. I will watch it again.

Here is Your Christmas Card
I just wanted to let all my blogger friends that I have had such a great time getting to know you through writing this year. I feel like I have something in common with all of you all.
Wanted to let you all know that you are the first ones to get a Christmas greeting from me. I have not even sent one card out. The time seems to get away from. I should just send everyone an e-card but that seems to be impersonal. I like to write a little something something in my cards. Is it possible to develop ADD at an older age? Or do we just call it something else.
Here is your Christmas Greeting.

Turn the Lights On
It is that time of year when all the decorations come out and the lights are on.
For a few weeks during the Holidays houses are lit by many differents type of lights. But, what happens after the Holidays? Christmas Lights come down are you left in the dark? Well, you don't have to be.
My husband likes to live in the dark, and sometimes I like to read or do some research and I can never find some good reading lights in the house.
I have found the solutions over at http://www.shopwiki.com/wiki/Lamps. I came across this site shopping for something else and I was amazed at the number of great lights that they have on their site. In my front living area I have a Norman Rockwell setting and I have been searching for a great Lamp replica for that era. Now, I am not the traditional type person and I like going outside the box, meaning bringing stuff from the outside to use on the inside. I found that Norman Rockwell Lamp that I have been looking for. I love the look of this lamp. The price is right up my low budget dark alley. :)
Now, for the reading lamp, I like the look of this lamp and the little sidekick that you can turn on and off just for the reading. Again, take a look at this lamp, perfect for the budget right now.
Do you need a night light for the kiddo? Perfect place to shop for some. Oh I found the cutest little nite light for any little tike. They have Football Helmet Lights, Little Lullaby Lights, Orange County Choppers, and the list goes on. Why do people always come up with the cute ones after my kids are grown.
I could really go on about this site but I think it is better if you go where the light is a little brigher. I hope you find what you are looking for. I know I did.
Happy Shopping.
